Nokia touch, but I advise you try it before you buy (when it comes out) to make sure it has good handwriting recognition. Touch is a fingertouch interface, it may not have a stylus and may not have handwriting recognition.
Other than that any Windows Mobile phone with a touchscreen (not just HTC) has handwriting recognition.

Nokia 5800 codenamed Tube is scheduled to be announced october of 2nd in London
It will feature Touch screen, finger based navigation.with stylus Support & Hand writing recognition
Running Symbian S60 os
Other options u may want to conisder are Touch Diamond & Touch HD

yes, I am agree with wedg. you should try. touchscreen phones are in vogue at the moment. Every brand is trying to release touch screen in competition so, they are being called as iphone killer bcoz they are lates.
