What is a "joke" about UIQ?

Is the display same as the P1i?
As the G900 does not come with a memory card can i use the same memory card from my P1i?

1. I prefer the Dark Brown one
2. It's a little bit smaller, about 2.4", but is not deepened as in P1, so it is easier to touch it with fingers
3. You will be able to use your M2 card without problems

I am also going to shift from P1i to G900. I do not consider Xperia because it would make my HPM-90 and M2 card useless. also X1 is a little bit too big for me. More like PDA than a phone.

I also do not see any jokes in UIQ, am I missing something?

Get the G900, I've got one. It's rare as mutts nuts! I know of no one else who has one!! Now that's cool cause it's a world apart from the Tocco and iPhone crowd. Plus the phone looks very nicely understated, less chance of some one nicking it. The screen is better then any other UIQ tel, it's TFT so you can see it in daylight and it's flush with the case and it's sharper then the P1 as it's the same resolution as the P1 but smaller. The interface is much easier to use and the addition of the D pad is an utter boon.
With Nokia's GPS you have to pay a monthly fee for turn by turn voice instructions so it's useless in a car and I'm not sure if Tom Tom will work with it?

Compared to S60 3rd edition? Well for starters, the one thing that puts it into a joke of a 'smart' phone is the phone's inability to move different applications from one folder to another. If I want the picture editor to be in the root menu, i cant do that because the phone's way too smart to do that.
Secondly, no profiles. That's just sad.
With themes, ringtones and messaging tones change. I'm sorry but i just cant keep on changing the ringtone to my custom one again and again when i change the theme, something which i do very often. Theme and ringtone have nothing in common.
Really really pathetic search feature in music player. Only searches the file by its first word, and not through out the file name. Makes the search totally pointless IMO.
Volume output shockingly low. Wont and will not unlock and do such stuff to my phone. Want a music phone to work like one right out the box.
Inability to find out from which number you receive the SMS from if the said contact has multiple phone numbers saved.
Incoming SMS times off by a maximum of 24hours. Not so in my i450 S60

Those are all just the top of my head, will post more once I remember more.

I would go for G900.
I have tried a E66 at a local dealer, and despite my enthusiasm generated by technical specs, I was dissapointed.
First of all the low speed of the phone which is not helped by the processor (true it had a orange branded firmware)
"Boring" S60 menu
symbols on the main keyboard can be seen only when phone is used, and the keyboard has the lights on.
Sub mediocre camera
Directional key is somehow raised and exposed and probably it will be peeled ASAP.
As advantages I would mention GPS, WLAN wizard, and cool looks

@QVGA

I agree with some of of your comments, but regarding themes keep in mind that the ringtones and other alert tones only change, if the related sound files are included in the theme. Otherwise they don't change.

If some of your favourite themes include such sound files, you can easily remove them via SE Theme Creator.

Another thing I forgot is that there is no way to close applications, they all just get minimized and you have to manually close them via task manager. Thats an unneeded step.
Secondly, if i have web running in the background, and then i run another application that requires some RAM, the phone will automatically close down web without informing me, without any warning what so ever. This was just beyond annoying when I had a W950. Just where does a phone come off closing applications itself?
Of course this isn't present in the P1, but if you somehow manage to fill its 128mb of RAM, i'm sure it'll close down applications without any prior warning.
