my vote for C902. it was close to draw but to be fair, C902 have more potential. however both phones have strong and weak points. what is the most important thing - you can still call and sms with them - impressive isn't? quality of test is average:

1. auto mode used in most shots? ok, however in this case it's not good test for subjective perception of picture quality. pictures from SE phones looks better with non-auto white balance (in other phones too? ok, then why not to compare results with defined white balance to see max effect?)

2. different exposure levels due to different compositions. very important issue especially for scenes with wide range of luminosity (e.g. sky and ground). I know that identical compositions are not possible but they should be as close as possible if you want to compare anything (yes, colors and details will suffer too)

comparable? yes if somebody is almost blind

The Secret's camera is so much better that you are all just wasting precious time and bandwidth by discussing it. I will try to lay hands on an "ordinary" C902 tomorrow and RE-compare them side-by-side. Unless, for comparison's sake, someone wants to send me one of the two or three C902's in the entire world that take acceptable photos!

I think only the C902 camera was vastly improved after the release of the R3BH002 firmware. In the C902 photo thread, the pictures in the first few pages were taken with the pre-R3BH002 firmwares (ie. the R3BA035 used in the review) and I do not think anyone would disagree that the new firmware definitely improved the C902 camera by quite a margin.

I do not own any of these phones (yet) but I think a comparison using C902's newer firmware will yield a more convincing result. So haki, please check the C902 firmware prior to doing the comparison if possible.

Plank, it’s simple for me to post nice Secret’s 100% crop examples:

Mate, will see haki’s comparison, in this comparison i have posted try to give me whatever C902’s 100% crop that looks better than Secret.

Raidersky, it‘s all true, but wich pic in the “right” exposure with both phone would be better? In “some conditions” looking 10 resized pics you can judge 4 or 5 better for C902 and 6 or 5 for Secret, but while you see the real size there is no C902’s pic that looks better.
Look at some 100% crop color contrast:

I prefer the photos taken by the secret for 2 reasons:

1) The C902's photo's are very grainy at full res and detail is lost. The Secret is much clearer. Veiw both at full res next to each other - You would have to blind to not see how grainy the SE shots are.

2) C902 suffers very badly from Purple Fringing. Look at the horizon on the hills and look at the Chrome Grill on the Car. No frimware can fix this - it is the result of a poor quality lens.

Lol the C902 haters are out again. Hi!

Look I have a C902 and it's great. It may or may not take better shots than the perfect, but from those images they both look about the same. I have the latest firmware on mine, and I used to have that 035 firmware, and between the two, I've noticed the latest firmware is a bit better.

If you like the Secret better, then so be it. I'm glad you like it. If you like the C902 better, then that's cool. I like it too.

You guys argue about phones all day long and its beginning to get ridiculous. Here's my input to your big argument: Who gives a crap?
