I have to say a lot of Nokia reviews on it's new models have commented on build quality, but I'm surprised it's the same on the N96 and I would not accept it. My G900 battery cover doesn't quite marry to the phone at the top edge but it's only a tiny gap and I don't care as it's a low end smarty. But the N96 costs almost double and should be built like it.

@djin, trust me, there is no naviwheel feature, it's gone.
I've tried everything.
They'll probably do like what they did with the N95-8gb when they activated the tilting with a firmware update.
@shanes, you're on the ball
@gucci, sadly I don't think deforming my fingers is something I want to get used to lol. It's all about ergonomics and it should be natural to use.
I also looked for the 'Media Keys' there is no section on the phone.
as QVGA said, the n85 isn't the flagship the N95 is
The N85 does have a nice oled screen and fm transmitter though. (However no tv)
I miss the Navi roller. SE implemented that on their Japanese devices. That was the best.

Here's another one.
While switching sims, I realized that the N96 comes with a 5F battery (950Mah) compared to the N95-8GB's 6F (1200Mah)
Wtf??
The 5F was used in the N95.... and they've taken us back...
The 6f fits fine btw in the N96, its just 2-3mm thicker so i can't close the back case.
*sighs*
If the N96 is more powerfull... that means it'll just end up using more battery.

There was a bit of a fuss when Nokia announced the battery for the N96. Isn't FP2 more battery-friendly though? After your initial shock, how has the battery actually compared in real life use? This guy seems to be impressed with it, although I understand everyone's usage (and expectations, demands etc) is different:

well from full yesterday it's crying that it's low at 2pm (I like that it switches to battery saving mode).
I used it for some calls and texts, oh and some bluetooth, thats it.
My N95 - 8gb which I was also using a bit less says 65-70%
You know my guys, I try not to be biased with my reviews. In fact I was looking forward to the n96.
