Actually that was originally the position but then quite a few Networks changed there minds and decided to partner Nokia after all.

Really i think we need to wait and see what happens when devices that come with Music are actually released as to what and if there are any additional costs or not. But the point i was making due to the huge catalogue of Music that will be available it will still work out much cheaper then buying your Music from iTunes or on CD.

But a lot would depends on the users requirements for me this would be of no interest at all due to both the encoding used and the fact that i already have most of my Music and just add to it. I also prefer to have a CD and then convert it to a format and quality i want and really don't have enough interest in all the new releases to want to make use of it. But I'm sure for many it will be welcomed and give them access to nearly all the Music they could want at little or no extra cost.

This is only one part of what Nokia are doing in bringing services and the ability to interact with others to their devices in a easy and seamless way and is what OVI is all about. Again it may not be great for all of us but I'm sure for many it is welcome and quite a good USP for Nokia and their devices.
