If you read the first sentence in my first post in this topic you'll find it says: "All the sudden my jog dial "click" has stopped working". Well now, it started working again in the same manner.
I don't even know why I'm posting this, not like it's gonna help anyone but there you have it. I just tried to click the dial like hoping it would be magically fixed and, well, it is... doubt it was really magic though.
Battery problem still seems to be there but I'll test it further.

Bro,the jog dial part couldn't repair or disassemble,it's compact structure from manufacture.
Better you replace it with the new one.
Watching ur story,it is just mechanical failure in the metal connector in the jog dial.
It is not electrical failure I mean.

Yeah, so much i figured, although some people said SE replaced their jog dial when it was malfunctioning. So it is replaceable in theory, just not as easily attached/removed as the display or keyboard.
BTW if anyone didn't get it yet: if I could replace my phone with a new one, I wouldn't try to disassemble it myself or even bother writing here. The phone is out of warranty period.
I may be biased now, but it seems my battery life has improved. It doesn't feel very long but it does feel like it lasts longer now. I'm guessing the battery is just used up and doesn't have the capacity it once had. If that's the case, then my whole problem has magically vanished. Will take some time until I can be sure how well the battery is performing.
