Ringtones are not compatible as Nokia do not use iMelody or eMelody formats and Ericsson do not use RTTL.

Images are different, Nokia uses their own propriatory format for images which some newer Ericsson phones can read (if sent from a Nokia). However, Ericsson do not support re-sending of this format as it only has the ability to display these images. Nokia on the otherhand do not support EMS bitmaps which the newer Ericssons use (and some other makers like Motorola do as well).

I am assuming you don't mean JPEG and GIF images used by both Ericsson and nokia on their MMS phones (as these images are readable and can be sent via MMS from/to both Ericsson and Nokia).

I sent and received picture messages using my T68m R2E006. I could only send the normal b/w pictures and not the coloured ones.

When writing a SMS, click on option>inster item>picture. The Nokia 3315 sent me the picture throught picture messages

That was a simple "final" post -- but here we have people coming in and posting stuff saying that they've sent stuff to nokias. Now is anyone going to look into that?

I tried the insert picture method and inserted a regular b/w pic from my collection - it let me choose only one of those - and sent it to a 3310 and a 6510. The 3310 got just the text part, and the 6510 got garbage.

I get picture messages from the 6510, which i can't seem to extract and place in my collection. I click the Save button on one of these messages and I just get a "Sim Full" message. I dunno what to do.
