Wrong phone code maybe? 0000 is the default code, if you havenīt changed it to something else.

No, phone code was correct - just got the error message. I've just managed to format it though, after removing and re-inserting the M2 a few times. So far since formatting it (About an hour) it's been recognising the card OK, fingers crossed it will continue to do so!

Tried SEUS, no joy there! Mem card seems to be reading OK still today, it only seems to have an eppy when I try doing something with it, like connecting the phone to the PC.

When I do this, the phone asks whether to go into phone or USB mode. If I select USB mode, it starts the process, then will just hang with the screen and keypad lights on, meaning I have to take the battery out. Once powered up again, the mem card won't read properly until it's been removed and re-inserted a number of times. There are a couple of other little bugs and glitches so I think I'll have a go at re-flashing the phone.

I've been out of the 'flashing' loop for a while, what are the best sites/programs for re-flashing? I don't suppose it can now be done for free, if not how much does it cost? Think I'll remove the nasty Voda firmware off the phone too, debrand the bugger. I wouldn't be surprised if it was that which was causing all these problems!

Just reflashed the phone using TotalGSM, so far it's all working great, and debranded the phone too! It cost me €10 but it was worth it.

Cheers for you help everyone, just debating whether to get that money of the person who sold me the phone or not.
