agreed, but really the only time I take pics with phones is to check the camera performance while checking out the phone in general, and usually in good daylight, so for me this is not really an issue in normal daily use

Hmm i think it would be called something like "touch pro HD"... Which has a nice ring to it.but i have to agree with massuer on this,my first touch phone was an imate jam and that was a real pain to use to enter text!but lately i used a diamond for a week or two and i have to say it's quite easy to enter text and doesn't warrant the need for hardware keyboard now.there's lots of diff ways to enter text in the diamond and i found the one with slightly more buttons than a standard feature phone keypad the easiest to use...it's similar to say the p1 keypad but touch based..nice phone massuer that diamond is quite and eye catcher to other ppl...

Just received a tweet from the HTC guys - the Touch HD is confirmed for November in most European and Asian markets.
There is an informal HTC meetup on 11/14 (Nov. 14) in Seattle to demo the HD. If anyone's going, let me know.
