Try to use the following Opera Mini Server:
196.006.128.012@server.operamini.com:80
Put a check on SHADOW CONNECT then put
http://live.vodafone.com on the "Address To Connect" box

Thanx very much I'll try that one( I do think I have tried it though as it is my default internet settings ip address, but it's certainly worth a try)!
O and another thing, I posted this trick on SE NSE forums, hope you don't mind (I have thanked you and fdigital at the end of that post so people can know it's you and fdigital that helped me understand this trick.)

@sitnet,
If you have tried this trick:
on the opera mini server: live.vodacom.com@server.operamini.com:80
And it not working, maybe you dont browse this site: live.vodacom.com freely...

I tested, I can browse that site totally free, Oh and I type wrong all along, it's not vodacom.com it's vodafone.com, but that doesn't matter because I just typed it wrong here but right on my phone.
What happens now is when I try to open a page it or gives my the error of no connection found and that I should do a connection test, or it gives me that java exeption blablabla error.
OK I know I'm gonna post some pics later so you can see what I meen.
