no camera lens cover...

@Daedalus85: Why not K850?

Yes, i know is the last in your list, but you can give it a try:

-It has a superb lens cover mechanism like a real digital camera
-Led flash for video and focus + strong Xenon
-Torch function
-Cool media player and good sound
-Acelerometer
-With the latest firmware R1FA035 is very stable and fast.
-Large and bright display
-You can use MicroSd memory

And is very very cheap now, just make sure you buy it under warranty.

(sorry for my bad english)

Because I work in a mobile phone shop, and I get to see the horrors of day to day life when people bring phones back that are faulty.

The K850i has been the biggest headache for us since the W580i keypad cracking thing.

Plus I've tried using it, and the placement and usability of the buttons are so un-userfriendly that I wanted to throw it against a wall. Wouldn't be a smart choice of phone for me...

I've owned a K850i and the buttons do take a week or two (or at least longer then the 10 minutes in store) to get used to but once you're used to them you'll never want to change.

The T650i is a fantastic option, weighing in at
I've had my C905 since it's release and it is the best phone I've ever had.
No other statements needed.
It's one niggling point is the torch function but, put the camera on, turn it to video and turn the LED. It's very VERY bright. I'm going to hold onto this one for a while.

If you want a brief on the ups and downs of any of the phones I've had over the current portfolio PM me. I've had K800, K850, T650, W760, W910, S500, C905 and C902.

K850i's a no-no because of the reliability, and I've tried it for alot longer than 10 minutes, and every single time it drives me mad.

And T650i is a K770i in an expensive case, so I may as well have the K770i.

The reason for the camera slide cover wasn't to protect it, I don't care about that at all, it's so it's quick to activate, I did say that once already....

And no, it doesn't work with the MXE-60.

hey mate.... looking at what your needs are, i would recommend getting the w810i.... same camera features as in k750, except for the camera cover.... but since you dont need the cover for protection, you could use one of your d-pad's directional key to open the camera function.... thats what I do, and it doesnt take even 2 seconds to run the application.... plus its a quad band phone with edge in it, and a wonderful walkman application.... so just keep it in mind while you surf for your phone.... cheers....

Thanks but:

I dont need Walkman
I dont care really if it's EDGE, Quadband etc
And adding the camera to a shortcut can be done with pretty much any phone, plus it requires 3 key presses (star, unlock, shortcut button), which takes too long. What I love about my K750i is the ability to pull it out of my pocket, pull the lens open and bam! straight into the camera, just like that

So I guess the camera slide is a must on my next phone.

What about C702?... the only downside i see is the Xenon accessory not working... what would you miss the less?, Lens cover for quick activation or not being able to use the accessory?

The C702 is the nearest I found on my travels, but I wasn't a fan of the buttons, didn't feel like I'd pressed them, too hard and spongy.

But getting closer

K810i? Camera is activated instantly by opening the lens cover.

I had a K750i and it's one of the best phones I had.
