If you are unlocking do not buy a debrand.
Unlocking by the new method involves a free debrand, will keep you guys updated.

I have a C905 on Orange in the UK. I debranded through Davinci and this cost a little under £10.00.

I got it wrong 1st time, and simply went through the process (about 15 minutes) debranding my phone to Orange. The people at davinci gave me sufficient credits to try again and next time I debranded to a generic option in Europe.

Wow I am happy, I now have google maps (not Orange maps) and the funky SE icons (the Orange ones look a bit naff).

I could not find instuctions on how to do it apart from on forums. I downloaded the client from Davanci (client.exe) then ran it. It asks for user login and password. You then switch off the phone and plug in the cable whilst holding C. You choose the second option then select what you want it to be on debranding: there are loads of them. I selected generic Western Europe. The whol process take less than 15 minutes.

Well worth it imho
