Are you on a VPN connection? Its possible that the IT admins at your company have disabled images.
Do you have another computer/laptop? Try using it on your network and see what happens.
If these suggestions don't work, you might have a serious piece of malware on your computer. Post a
HJT log and I'll look into it.
