> C905 problem - RED PIXEL

Well, on a computer display you'll have to run it for about 15 minutes, but I'd personally do it longer on a C905 as the test doesn't update the display as often as the computer tests does.

Ok...but I have to prevent the display from the standy-by...it will have to be always in function during the test time, right?

Afaik to unstick a pixel you'll need something that's a bit more random and violent than the standard test on the SE, suppose it's worth a try but have a look online for a better, actual tool.
I too now have to return my bloody handset to Orange cos of this led fault. DaVinciTeam have been very helpful though, very kind.
Highly recommend them!

In effect...I've tried the display test but nothing happened...the red pixel it's still there...so I think that the only solution now it's to return it to the seller...and await for a substitute...what a sort of bad luck these times...

I bought my W910 from another country. It has 3 white dead pixels appearing only on black background. I can't get a replacement but I don't really mind about it. In fact many LCD screen will have a few dead pixels when they come from the factory.

Well...ok...I know that it's a factory probability that fault...but it's really annoying, if you've bought the phone 3 days ago...damn it!
I've sent a mail to the seller...awaiting answers...

The seller answered me that they have to hear from Sony Ericsson if the substitution can be done, if it's covered by warranty...

I've sent a mail directly to the Sony Ericsson's online help, and this was the response:
