The K850 is a great phone, good camera, good media player ,good everything actually! Plus we can change fonts, flash menus, media player etc. now

Give me a break! What difference do all these features (really good camera, nice audio playback, xenon flash) have if the navigation makes it impossible to use them. Watch any video on youtube and you see people tapping the screen multiple times instead of once because the K850 doesnt receive the commands on the tap areas. Also notice how long the phone has to process the tap. Now please can anyone tell me what's the point of that? Also you have to move your finger off of the dpad to confirm anything. I couldnt stop myself from laughing when I saw a retail 350Euro Sonyericsson being such a mess LOL

The most incredible thing though is that some people actually seem to like to go through the pain of using it!. Einstein once said "Human stupidity and the universe are infinite. Of the former I'm sure". And boy was he right!

I'm not that picky as you might think. I just expect from a phone that I carry around all day that I can use it when I need it. Otherwise: what's the point of carrying a 120g brick?

Mark my words, though, If you're a fanboy who gets excited that he can change the fonts or have a flash menu even though his phone is not to be used, then I believe this is a perfect choice. Do you buy phones like these PLUS a frame and hang it on the wall ?

I have none of these problems with my K850i. The D pad is far easier to use than the joystick on the K800. The touch pad buttons can be set to vibrate if you need that sort of thing to "confirm" you've actually touched it. Don't really have a need for it myself.

Sounds like you either had a hardware fault or it's a case of operator error.

Go for the K850i its a great phone and despite what the previous poster said the D pad and soft keys are a doddle to use. Never had an issue with mine, you just need to touch the right place, not the screen, works every time.

Only issue ive had with mine is the restarts but that seems common on SE phones and since my last update it hardly ever happens.

better wait for some other 5mpx, or go for c905 stright away. bec k800i is obselete it doesn't have the updated mediaplayer, or flash menus, or JP8. and joystick.but keep in mind a great camera and a good build.

k850i is ok, but i personally faced lots of prob on hardware keys, screen. and build quality. so i dont prefer that.

u can try c905. which has all above those. it has even wifi with good looking design and great camera. if i wanna choose i would go for defenitely c905.

keep in mind that the camera module on k850 faced lots of criticism. try to check the reviews befor going to buy.

Do what you like just don't say nobody didn't warn you.

Check out some videos of K850i and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Peace out.

Impossible to use them? What kind of bullshit is that?! I only had to tap ONCE and never more and it goes fast.

You clearly have a trauma. Ofcourse there are some owners with problems (a few you saw on Youtube), but the majority of the K850-owners dont have any problem with the phone.

I'm not sure what a fanboy is, so ill just let that slip.. anyways I AM VERY HAPPY with my K850, the fonts/menus are a extra thing. Without those, the phone would still be very good!

Go for the k850 you will not regret it. With the lastest firmware installed your goin to love this little baby. Check my everything you love about the k850 thread it will inspire you.

check out this thread for your choice: http://www.esato.com/board/vi[....]ic=178228&start=15#post2500528

C902 has poor camera (no xeon flash) C905 is already having wobbly slider problems.

K850's production has long been unceremoniously discontinued. that's enough reason to skip it. just go for C902 or C905.
