If you want more features, then go for C702, because of the GPS, bigger screen and the fact that the phone is kind of ruggerized.

If you want a stylish, yet a good camera phone, then go for C902. It has a 5MP camera with touch-sensitive buttons, and furthermore it has a metallic body.

Personally, I would go for C902, because I'm not using GPS much on my current phone

So from what I gather, the Image-stabiliser for the C902 does not ahve much of an effect of correcting an unstead hand, am I right? From what I see, not many have mentioned anything about the stabilising feature.

Also, if I compare both the cameras unmodded with the latest firmwares, does the C702 still edge out the C902? I am planning to just shoot with auto mode for both or maybe some permanent setting.

frankly, c702 dosent have a chance in auto mode (or which mode you like) against c902. (to say something else would be hilarious).

c702 camera have to much noise, not even with modded driver c702 reach the same level.
(besides, GPS cost money to use, if you just want to find some location sometime, google maps do the job ok,(and even for free)).

google maps itself is free. (you only pay for the kilobytes you use and thats nearly nothing).

GPS cost money to use the app itself. (wayfinder, etc, comes as an extra subscription cost)

@marty: so true

@nicky (could be plankgatan): obviously you haven't used Trekbuddy on C702. Google Maps is of course free in itself, but it uses GPRS data transfer, so when you are in an area with bad satellite signal reception it will set you back for more than 50kB. And that's a lot especially when you only wanna see where you are on the map.
@Klo: I think you should get both phones and try them out for the trial period, if there's such an option provided by your telco. Cheers!

being in that same position barely a week ago...here are my thoughts.

camera-wise, i believe that until someone comes up with an updated cam driver for the C902, the modded C702 is better (there are several threads on that already). the C702 also has a brighter torch! i'm a fan of handphone torchlights haha...in the C902, u'll have to turn on video in night mode to activate the torch or use the modded pack to add that function in ur organizer.

in terms of durability, the C702 is also better because of it's dust/water proof feature. plus the C702 has got a built in GPS chip, although C902 comes with non-GPSable Google Maps.

i geared towards the C702 until the final moment when i tried the phones. as i'm a heavy texter, the buttons of the C702 didn't feel as comfortable as the C902. so i had to re-evaluate my priorities. and the final verdict on my side was that i got myself a titanium C902 instead.

it'll be great to get a feel of both phones in ur hands before deciding good luck!
