Since you have a slow connection and you are pretty new to updating firmware, I would just leave it alone, if there any problems like bugs or something then you will have to but if there aren't, then don't bother. Like they say, never fix something which isn't broken.

One funny thing I have found when updating using FOTA is that it seems to have a time out limit of some 60 secs, meaning if the file download has not completed within that timeframe it will abort and present "download failed". Redirecting FOTA to connect through my home wifi network it downloaded the same firmware file without problems, taking much less than 60 seconds of course.
