Well; I'm happy as a bunny here.
Picked up my phone today. Still looks brand spankin' new.
Nice and firm back cover and a bright clear screen (it actually looks clearer than the previous screen!). It was even wrapped in a felt cloth!
Oh, yes; and a service report with a hand written signature of the chap who did the service.

SE came through which is nice.. but seriously from a service perspective right now apple is killer..
they would have swapped it with a new one on the spot for you...

I sended my W810i for repair (officially, the warranty was voided because of hacking and unlocking). The fast port didn't work good and the cam button was somewhat broken. When it came back, I saw they just gave me a new phone

That's what I call great service

I've never had to take any of my SE phones to a service centre even once.
So I'm very happy with SE right now.

have you contacted the Guiness Book of Records yet? they were waiting for the first person to win the lottery, get struck by lightning, and find gold at the end of the rainbow, all in the same day. but your record is considered far more noteworthy.

Well, no one I know has had to either. The only cases I know of, of people who have had to return SE phones or have them repaired under warranty, are those on this forum and other forums. Which pretty much proves to me that having to return SE phones is not as common as all the moaning and bitching on forums would indicate.
I'm not saying those who claim problems aren't legitimate, of course they are true cases, but the users on this forum are not truely representative of the outside world. The occurance of faults reported on forums is not a statistically relevant sample of the real world.
The fact is that forums attract people lookikng to resolve issues, so there is a much larger instance of reported faults on forums than occurs in the general public.
The more important fact is, that if it was uncommon for people to have owned several SE phones without any problems, then SE would have gone out of business a long time ago. That would equate to a roughly 15-20% return rate, do you really think SE products are THAT bad?
If you do you are not thinking rationally. They simply would not be in business, no OEM can sustain that kind of failure rate without the public leaving the product in droves.
The myth of SE handsets being endemically unreliable is just that: a myth.

Good post max, I can see real logic behind that. Alas, despite all the imperfection that my SE phones have been, they still crack me up better than the Nokia flagships I've owned.

Here is my list of SE phone I owned, only one phone did return bake to the shop and money bake, that's was Z1010 SE first 3G phone, a problem boy..
Did owned P800,k700,k750,K80,S700,Z600,W910,W880.W890.W980,X1 and C905.
And P800 was the only phone it did visit service center for SW update.. That's was the only phone, all other you could update at home, and Z600 was no problem at all, maybe pretty slow, how ever.. Still own W980,K800 and C905..
some of users has scratch key problem with C905, after one week use, no problem with mine, works perfect..
So after 11 owned SE phones, and still own 3 of them.. Why left when things works.. So I'm happy SE users

Apple have an amazing repair service too in America, you just tell them the problem and boom they'll sort it out for you. Glad you got your phone fixed.
I have been through one SE phone, died once because of the EROM but I fixed it myself. I would still have an SE today but since the iPhone has come out, that's been drawing my attention alot, xD.
