My K800 was dead once too. I revived it as a K810 and it's still very much alive. It was indeed an erom accident that paralized the phone. I still wonder how many people threw away their phones thinking they were definitely dead.

You should find a way to check battery and charge it if empty...
Next:
1/Try to clean phone`s connector
2/download SETool Lite 1.08
3/start it
4/push "Identify" button
5/hold together 2 and 5 on phone`s keypad,not "C"
6/plug the cable and wait a few seconds...
Now SETool must recognize your phone...
If not...sorry...

,you need service...

You may need using cruiser or other service cable if your phone is not recognized.... And as it writes above, RECOVERY NEEDED, you may have to repair your phone using test point etc....

The best way is to get it to service center.

It's a special type of Service Cable used used for SE Phones, Google is your friend. Lukechris, I think the GDFS might be damaged too, that's why it probably can't be fixed, I got one similar to it rto reapit but to no avail.
