I also love how he used as a scapegoat the whole C805 reason. Anyway yeah its default and it isn't going to change. Its actually useful in many ways. For lets say students they have the phone silent so it wont ring in class meaning that its simpler for them to listen to music with friends during break or if your tired and only put on alarm and have it on silent it will still wake you up. I think sony ericsson phones only have this and thats why i love them.

+1 for selove. It's the same story on iPhone, you have the Ringer Volume and Normal Volume. Ringer Volume is the thing which is put on silent when you flick the silent switch.

it's like that on my viewty too. can be a bit annoying as you put it on silent and then go on auto-pilot to play a java game or media player......and the sound blasts out! .

if i wanted to have it so that everything is silent except for media player and java games, all i would need to do is create a user profile that has a silent ringtone for calls and sms. silent should mean SILENT.

with my old samsung and motos, this never happened. when you put it on silent, EVERYTHING is silent.
