Using this A2 uploader makes me feel like an idiot too. I have managed to debrand my phone from Orange UK to a generic European model with the latest firmware (giving me the funky SE icons and google maps instead of Orange maps) but to replace the menu with a modded one that includes a flashlight application in organiser has got me beat.

Can anybody point me to some A2uploader tutorials please?

Little tutorial with A2 uploader

Well, It's something like that :

First you must find where is the A2 uploader ( try to find latest Version it's no difficult )

Second, temporary disable your AVG; NOD32 ; or what U ever have for Your antivirus system. This is something you must to do, because this A2, antivirus programs recognized as a spyware, or somethin', and they don't let you to download it, or exetute A2 (Run it ).

Third,
when you do that.... Where is the your new camdriver? His name MUST BE camdriver0.dat, it is the one of three camdrivers in your phone.

Ok,

Now the REAL WORK. . Turn OFF mobile phone, pull out the battery and the SIM.

Return batter, without sim, don't put the cover on battery, cause U must pull it out once again, when U'll be over.

Plug the USB cable in computer ( don't connect the phone yet, only USB cable ) and put the end of the cable which is connecting on the phone near your hand on table.

Activate your ( installed ) program A2 uploader...

Click On image "File Manager" or "File System" don't know corectly, but U can miss it.

Look the left side of the screen, it will be some process begining in green ...

It will be showin
>>> "HOLD "C" on the phone ...and plug cable in it... "
Don't let the C yet, just hold it... Then U will see on right side on the screen, system files of your phone, which will appear in box...

U can now release "C"...

Click on "IFS" folder , then click on "settings" , and then on "camera" .

U will see the three drivers... camdriver0.dat, camdriver1.dat, camdriver2.dat...

Now You just Drag-and-Drop your driver ( with same name "camdriver0.dat" ) in that folder....

Old driver will be automatically swapped by this new one, and U can't return this original back ( don't worry it always have original drivers on the net )

Now You click STOP, and the other button Exit or somethin down the STOP.

Press "C" again..... Pull out the cable ( recomended to click on "Safely remove hardware" first ) ....

Pull out the battery ...and let it be out for at least 5 seconds...

Put the SIM back,
Put the battery back....Put the cover....Turn ON your phone....

THANK YOU...AND GOOD BY

You don't have to push "c" when you remove the cable...
