hmmm, ok. Haven't tried it with IR yet, I always use BT, but that is good, getting a message when sent through IR... Just cannot understand why the same doesn't apply when sending through BT...?? This message was posted from a P800

I get a screen showing every time i send via BT, it asks me to save or view, if i save then it goes to "beamed",i can retrieve it from there if other components were needed for the install,
Area info is for people with local call screen information & auto setup is great because when i recieve a network configuration message i can install it but keep the copy in that menu for another try if the first install doesn`t take,what a great idea. as i needed to reinstall my GPRS after i accidently changed the settings.

I get a notification message for everything... beamed items via IR, BT, or OTA. Just fiddle with the settings in the control panel/connections

You can beam "messages" with the t68i at least...
You can send notes.

About the smsing on the p800... how many can it store? can you make folders? can you rename messages? so if you have lots of messages stored you can create order in them.
