Nothing still, what am I doing wrong?

I left Status info running in the background and took some pics. Copied the pics from the phone in mass storage and uploaded it as is.

at Location services > Settings > Assisted start: In all networks.

in camera mode: Settings > Add position > On.

that's how i got it set it.

Gah, it's really getting annoying now. Whilst in photoviewer, if I select 'show on map' it shows the pictures on the map, on the right place. But once copied of the phone the files have no GPS exif info. Would SE store it somewhere else inside the JPG because it must be in the files as I've reflashed the phone several times but kept the memoery stick in tact. Very annoying. Why can't they store the GPS details on a standard place other software can use too. Grrrr.
