Anyway, the screen isnīt perfect so you should not buy it. You should get the best for your money.

Could be a ''made in China'' screen?
He's selling it for 400$ and the 3G for 500$

I never said 2g was better than 3g? Yeah better in terms of it being cheaper *in most places* After you said there is only $100 difference in that shop, it's a no brainer tbh - 3g all the way

Hi. I used a first gen iPhone for 15 months before switching to the 3G model.

First Gen iPhone plus points:
- Phone is better made. Build quality is better (especially the Sim Tray) and the phone feels stronger.
- Screen has a "whiter" display. The 3G phone has a slight yellow tint in comparison.
- Package includes a dock/stand which is not present in the 3G package.

3G iPhone plus points:
- Phone is better to hold due to curved back and a slightly wider screen.
- Phone call quality is much better. Volume is far louder for calls, ringtones and alerts.
- Headphone socket is not recessed so more plugs fir into it.
- 3G data speeds at up to 7.2mpbs dependent on network.

I didn't know that the speaker volume was louder on 3G!
Anyway is there a way to choose GSM only instead of GSM + 3G to save battery?

Yes you can just turn off 3G in the settings, and it'll just use EDGE or GPRS instead

If I was you, I would have gone for the 3G one. Simply because, it's newer, GPS, 3G and other things.

My actual Nokia 5800 is in a Nokia repair center because of an abnormal battery drain(24h only) it's of course under warranty,it's very simple: if they tell me ''dude your battery and phone are 100% working, we will replace none of them'' then I will surelly show my finger to nokia and sell it so I will take a Iphone 3G(used).
How's battery with iphone 3G with the 3G disabled? (GSM mode only)
My boss told me his iphone can call but not receive calls !!! Is this a known problem?
