@veon: i forgot to tell you that you need a memory card file manager to force your palm to store the file in the correct way (i use mcfile). If u don't i'm not sure you can restore your datas.

I am still with old software and found the memory size indicator not working like many others. Veon and alex hope one of you can tell me whether upgrade can solve this. Mention this in malaysia thread but maybe this thread is more suitable for such question

comte zero: yeap i am also using mcfile , with a MMC card for storage, successfully backing up all my contacts and pictures into the card, but have a hard time figuring how to sync those pictures stored in mcfile to my PC, any ideas? A really nice and helpful esato member told me to change the .gif to .pdb and save it in the Palm memory and then only sync it, but how do i change the .gif to .pdb with mcfile?
Thanks
c96s: yeap, upgrade does make things right for my T300
go have it done, or u might wan to wait for the R1F. One thing bad about R1D is the joystick counter is missing. About the T300 not allowing us to delete predefined pictures in R1D firmware, i think it is better this way since deleting those pics will not free up much memory

My problem isn't to delete predefine item. E.g. When i install a game the memory will decrease but when i delete the same game i could not get those free space. I hope it is just an indicator problem.

well...it seems the memory indicator is at fault, but since these memory things are all controlled by the firmware, get an upgrade and then try it, as far as i am concern my T300 did not give me such trouble

@veon: with my clie i don't sync these files but i copy them directly to my hard drive. With usb and correct sw you can see your memory card as ext. Hard drive. Anyway u can rename your files with \"propities\" option in mcfile.

Ok, thanks for the tip man. Any recommended freeware to assess the memory card via the sync cradle? Or is a card reader a must it this situation? Cheers!
