They've kept the same design intentionally, they even said so in that press release at the top of this thread!

They've kept the same 'DNA' as the 6300 because it was a) a design classic and b) it was a huge sales hit. People loved everything about the 6300, and still do, and these three phones fill all the gaps:

2700 classic will be for people who want the 6300, but who can't get it any more (because it's older now, and Nokia are going to wind down production), plus it's cheap

6303 classic is the natural upgrade from the 6300 in terms of features and looks, with a similar price tag

6700 classic is for those who want the same top end features the 6300 offered in its day (for an S40 phone anyway), and the price is similar to what the 6300 was at launch anyway, so that'll be the big seller I expect.

The classic 6700 and 6300 were good phones. No denying that.

I always liked the design of the 6300, and the 6700 looks even better!
But the S40 is just awful in my opinion, that stop me from getting one

No dur they're going to be similarly designed captain obvious, they're SUCCESSORS to the originals, meaning they won't be totally different looking. The 6700 is a hella of a mid-end phone from Nokia with a really nice feature set.

Last year SE released 29 phones.

And Nokia's designs aren't just similar, they're variations of the same basic design.

and whats wrong in that? they are all quite good looking and amazing feature set for a phone in this price range. If i remember SE released that ugly F series 'gaming' phone for the same price range with a quarter of the feature set.

I see that there are two "different" faces from Nokia.
1. Oval slider
2. Candybar that looks like opened oval slider. Thats all))

Although the design is a bit dull and nokia i just had a slight twinge orf hate for sony ericsson. I mean i love em and all but 235 euros for a 5Mp phone and stuff like that? When SE would have such no has such for 400+ where i am. I am sorry but man SE needs to know the word sony doesnt give em loyalty rights.
