You can also save some jostick strokes by using the keypad. For example, in the t68 desktop, you can select an icon by pressing the number corresponding to its location, i.e. 2 for Messages, 8 for Connect, etc.
Under the pulldown menus, you can click the number of the option instead of scrolling your jostick up or down.

Did you know you can use the slide key to select a caracter while composing an email or sms. When you slide up>hold and you press "abc" it selects "b" slide down>hold and you press "abc" it selects "c" this works for every caracterkey! When I want to select "s" Slide down>hold>press "pqrs" twice gives "s" etc. etc. Slide down>hold>"0" gives @
Enjoy

When you scroll wap pages you can hold the joystick and the volume button down at the same time, then it will go a bit faster. I always do this.

And the site I visit the most is Esato (number 4 in bookmarks) I just press the joystick right, and tap in 6,2,4,1 and then I´m connected.

The scrolling tips do not seem to work on my t39, but maybe I have misunderstood how to do it. There is howerver a menu shortcut that is useful:
Pressing either the left or right arrow button displays the menu tabs. Pressing one of the keys 1-7 will go to the corresponding submenu, for example, left 5 will open the tools menu, or somewhat more advanced:
left 5 3 left yes will turn on the IR port for 10 minutes.
