Okay, so would you say WAP 1.0 uses WML as a language, and WAP 1.2 uses XHTML? In other words, what distinguishes WAP 1.0 from 1.2 and 2.0?
Wow, and your wml code looks pretty deep. I've been interested in teaching myself wml, but I'm already so comfortable with (x)html. Also, I believe wml will be phased out as more sophisticated mobile browsers become available.

I am actually a designer for
http://www.newmind.co.uk - so although the offer was nice, I only write in .asp, and I hardly ever code anyway. I can recomend a good forum though, I am SuperAdministrator there, so I could make you a mod on the php board if you like?
http://www.design-uk.org. I learnt it by myself, I looked at the code from exisiting xml DTD's, and used the W3Cstandards as a reference, but apart from that, I learnt myself. .wml is very easy to learn though, I only looked at the code for the first time 5 o'clock yesterday.

I did a work experience at newmind, when I was 16, in the summer holidays, and they liked me, thay asked me to leave school, but my dad said no, so I went to scholl, got my A-levels and went back to newmind, they said yey! and I got a job

what a lovely story.
as for your website, I would look more for a purpose, like a 'folio of your work, rather than just a few sections. e.g. How many hits a day do you get? probly not >50, so is it worth having a forum? make the site more strealined, and go for somthing out of the ordanary, a design you made, and not a clone of some one elses. It's good, but (without any offence) could do with a lot of imporvment. I'll mail you when the new JonathonOates.co.uk is up.

It's not that your site looks copied, but it has the tradmark (dare i say this?) 'Newbie' three coloumn layout, basic images, not very well touvhed up.. etc.
