Sorry, haven't had the time to do the swap yet. Couldn't find my pick set at first, but now I have. I will try to do this over the weekend.

Well, installing the touch screen was pretty straightforward, if you read the directions first. Unfortunately I didn't and got a little over zealous taking things apart and damaged the main LCD screen. As Homer would say, DOH!

Hola all.

Got the screen and tool to do the job quickly.
easy enough to do found a service manual on line (will find and post a link in due course)
all working fine, but the rwd play and ffwd icons do not light up. they work just do not light up.
not bothered as does not affect usage.

happy with the deal and time it took to do.

all good here bbq on the go.

The worst part of my story is that I have the service manual too, but didn't pay enough attention to it. Oh well, I now have a new LCD and touch screen courtesy of eBay (and not to advertise for them, but I ordered it 06/12/09, it shipped from NY 06/13/09 and arrived in my mail box today 06/15/09, all by the USPS!). Plus I have a spare touch screen if I ever need it. I'm not sure if this is where I got my copy, but here's a link for a service manual: http://www.mediafire.com/?y2dit0i1tsk
