That's an often used argument to set free murderers. The question is not if someone can be held responsible for his acts, the question is if the person is dangerous or not!
If is dangerous and has shown that can take other people lives. Dump him is a dungeon forever, or wipe him out.
So that no other persons loses his life, EVER!

Oh no you have got me wrong i didn't mean that at all and i agree that insanity is often used as an excuse to commit violent crimes. Personally i feel the punishment for murder should be death basically life for life. I feel we are too soft on violent criminals in this country the system should set an example of such criminals.
