"why not just ask the guy on the other end when you get an incoming call?"

> I never get any incoming calls, because no one knows what my number is!:D hehe

Pressing the volume keys doesn't show my number on C905, while it did on C702.

What actually happens when you call? does it come up with a message telling you what to call or anything?

Never could get outgoing calls working

- incoming calls only

Did you try to send a SMS to some other phone to get the number shown? Or have a look at the numbers stored on the SIM by the operator! Maybe there is a contact like 'own number' or 'my number' or you can get the number from the number of the mailbox or there is a contact for operatorservice which isn't blocked.

if you havent recieved any incoming calls because no one knows your number, how can you be sure you can actualy RECIEVE incoming calls?? maybe both are defective, incoming and outgoing, in wich case, what's the point of keeping the sim card? isn't there any company logo on the sim card?

The provider should be named on the SIM. Then call their customer service and ask them from what number you are calling.

There could indeed be a problem with the sim. But I would have expected to have a message like `network unavailable` or `access denied` or something, rather than not being able to call out.

I think I had to dial #117* before the number or something like that. I think there's £30 of credit on it.

There's no name on the simcard, and I can't see a name on the credit card bill when I bought it.

I think this card can be fake... Go buy another one, because your current is bulshit. I can't make phone calls, you can't receive calls and SMS... So, why is it still in your hands?!
