The mp3 player doesn't seem to use much power. I have used mine for over an hour at a time with no major drop in charge. You should get several hours of time on it. Maybe someone else has exacts.

Should work. Mine is an off brand from ebay. It comes with a 32mb sandisk brand. But you need the 128mb.

If you run XP there is no choice but USB. The serial unit does not work. Also as far as drag and drop + speed. The USB is much much faster. I couldn't get the Sandisk serial reader to work on mine. So instead of locking up my computer trying I just bought a USB reader.
