The W995 doesn't have a xenon flash, though.

No LED flash is ever sufficient, believe me.

I agree that the LED flash will not be a suitable substitute for the Xenon flash - but I am still rather tempted by the W995.
I think it could very well be a very successful mainstream Walkman. Even though it's high-end for now, and will probably cost a fair bit, it will drop in price and I think will stay on sale for some time - dropping in price then finding itself in the prepay market for some time.
I just hope SE has made it sturdy enough. The networks are already somewhat angry with SE, so this would be the last straw. Probably kept the repairers in business though for the last few months.

I really like the phone even if it has some flaws.
Things that could be improved.
Keypad a little difficult to use when sending txt messages (SMS) because the keys are "flat" even if they have a clicky sounds to them and the 3 upper keys are to close to the upper sliders buttom.
Music in standard earpieces are to low imo even if turned up to max.
Video and pictures menus are a bit slow when scrollling thorugh hundres of pictures or videos. Each time you scroll up or down it has to reload the thumbsnails.
Videos are not in such good quality but atleast they are in stero it sounds like in earpieces.
Batterystandbytime is way way lower than the 360 hours promised and i have bought 2 extra batteries to see if the first batttery was fault.
The auto rotation is a bit slow a lot of the time.
As far as i know it's not possible to rename your photoes.
The red eye reductions for the camera really sucks.
other than that it's the best cameraphone i had but then off course it's my first cameraphone

SE really does need to rebuild its media player from scratch. If it's going to create thumbnails for each image/video, it needs to store this in a cache so it won't have to re-generate the content every time you load the media player.
And, there's no logic to the fact that deleting a single photo can take 10-20 seconds to 'update' before you can view/delete another one.
The C905 can play high resolution video now without stuttering, even when sending the audio over Bluetooth, so it isn't processing power - but simply shoddy coding.
I hate to think what it's going to be like now that SE is trying to push video recording more, and more people are therefore going to be managing video content on their handset.
(Using the old school file manager ends up being the best way to manage content at speed)

I bought my C905 on saturday, and yes the battery is short BUT yes it will improve from cycle to cycle, the 5800's battery in the first week was lasting 18h only...after 1 month and a half it lasted 3 days!!
And by the way,I will get a W995 when it will available + not very expensive

The C905 battery can be just fine, but use the camera a lot and it's goodbye!
I now carry a spare battery with me (I have accumulated quite a few, and SE don't have that many different types) to stop me being caught out when I use the camera a lot (with or without flash).
