Same as upgrading Windows 98 to XP for example (big scale example : ).
It make your phone wark faster, smottrer, with less errors, some clame phone even getting better connection, also some new hradware ilke bloototh equipment work better, and more suported, also for t68 some functions for camera is unable without update, like zoom.
