Depends what you want in a phone as the Nokia is a smartphone but personally I would go for the W995. The N96 is a poor phone

i would NEVER EVER just depend on GSMArena charts to judge audio, i know this from passed experience, find an audiophile site or something.
Overall id get the N96, simply because when it comes to Video, web browsing, gaming, software and even firmware support wise it does and will crush the W995. The N96 on latest firmware seems be a lot better and Nokia have added some sweet little bits to it, so if you get it update it IMMEDIATLY, great thing about the current S60s is that they get regular OTA Firmware updates, and also have UDP (1st brought in by 3250, then brought back by N81 and N82 and to all FP2 phones) so doing a FW update is just simple, Update and get straight back to what you were doing, no more backing up and all that crap.

I've been using a Nokia 6110 Navigator for the last couple of months, but I had a w800i for years before that.
I loved the W800i. It is like a Swiss knife. It does everything I need (execpt wifi and GPS). I don't find the same easy feeling using with the Nokia 6110...

what you say about the W800i is the same what i feel ,got the W800i 4 years now and still i like to use it much more then my P1i .
i think the W800i was the best SE ever made (together with K750) ,not only that it did all you need, it did it much better then expected. all my friands love my W800i the volume is so strong that i can never listen more the 90% of it and the bass is so strong that my ears move. my friend has the W902 and it is a shame to compare it to the W800i.

W995 for sure. I tried an N96 in a store and count get past the confusing UI. All features on a phone depend on how well you can use the UI. Definately try before you buy.

Simple

W995 if you want ease of use with a non-touch GUI that never fails to impress.

N96 - if you are into 3rd party apps.

If you want 3rd party apps there's only one phone to choose and it's not a N96.

The N96 only has an advantage in video recording and Mobile TV. Not many people consider these to be must-have features.

BETWEEN W995 AND N96! The N96 has LOADS of useful 3rd party apps over W995. It doesnt just have an advantage in Video recording and mobile tv, its got a proper gaming community with online play as well, lots great high quality games, it has far better video playback capabilities, a better web browser, and other smartphone advantages. I dont get whats so confusing about S60 UI, when i moved from my W900 to N80 i had no problems with the UI, all was straight forward. If you find it hard to find things just go to the Stand-by screen, click the "Search:Internet and My Content" bar, type in the 1st 2-3 letters of what you want and voila its there, you actualy never have to go into the Menu. This is great for when you have over 8GB worth of stuff in your phone and loads of applications, documents, bookmarks, etc. . . . .
