@Ofiaich

When you send a contact or calender entry over via bluetooth it will be saved in your messages usually. Dont know if the P5 is different but my P1,W960 and G900 was like that.

@kuemmeltuerk

I got mine from the for sale threads here at Esato

@Rookwise.

You are spot on! But I knew you would be

I opened the message with the vcf file and saw

This file has 51 contacts that you may save to your contacts application.

And I can see a small box with 'saving cohtacts' in it..

But I cannot see any contacts in my contacts!

Hmm, bit of a puzzle! But early days! More checking out this evening

Check your contact settings. Your contacts will be in the Unfiled view. AFAIK you will have a choice which to view. The previous owner might have changed it.

Hi Angello,

but in the system information it is called a P200

@Rookwise,

OK are you suggesting to change it to 'all phone contacts'? Still cannot see the contents of the VCF file.

Did you send all your contacts over in one file ?
If so. That is why it hasn't worked. You might only have one contact displayed out of the whole lot. For some reason the Symbian phones had a problem with this. Best way is to set the phone to view all contacts or view unfilled. Then send one contact over at a time via Bluetooth. The contact will be saved in your messages as before. Open the message and save the contact. It should appear in your contacts list.
Again this is one way how i managed to get my contacts onto my Symbian phones back when i didn't have a card reader. Takes a while but it works.

Thanks Rookwise,

I did send over in one file from a BB Bold, and it didn't work.....

but Nanu told me about BBCard, which allows transfers.

So between yourself and Nanu, it is now sorted

Now all I need to do is install an app that gives Japanese support and I am setup!

Thanks to you both

Yes, thanks Rookwise.

but it was down to you and Nanu...!! credit where credit is due..

Next problem... bluetooth PSILOC Japanese ( Psiloc_CrystalJapanese_UIQ3.sisx )from my pc to my Paris.

Transfer seemed successful !

but I can't find it to launch it !

It must be there somewhere!

If I can launch this app, then I will be able to see Japanese in my address book!

Update,

I could get Psiloc Japanese to launch, and the the phone restarts but the application doesn't work.

Just get the same 'install Psiloc Japanese' in the menu.

That's a pity, but I do know clearly, that Paris is a prototype..
