double compress it.that sh0uld w0rk, i mean zip the zip file and take it to the maximum performance.hehe..

Beware that compressing a file twice does not necessarily result in a file that is smaller than the single compressed file. Why? Because, besides the compressed data of the files, som meta information about the files needs to be stored in the zip file, like original file name, search path in the directory structure, etc, and given that the original file compression was optimal when the .zip file was created, the data part cannot be compressed anymore that it already is, only more information (about the .zip file) will be added to the .zip.zip file, and thus, that file will become larger.

So are you saying that if maybe I compress a file that is 5MB to2MB and the second time I compress it it is most likely to be bigger than the initial size after the first compression

No, I don't, I'm saying that it will probably become somewhat larger than 2MB.

@Twometre, if i'm not mistaken you want to compress files on your handset. If that's the case, i can recommend "MobyExplorer". It is a file explorer program for handsets with Java support. You can pack files or folders, and even encrypt them.

Hello Winzip is a paid software. Also, Winrar has a 30 day trial. I suggest you use 7zip as it is free and its interface is the same as Winzip and Winrar. Thanks.

Follow these steps. Here is the basic "how to" if you want to compress file on your PC:

1. Go the "start" menu.

2. Open up "My Computer".

3. Browse through the computer until you find the file which you want to compress.

4. Right click on the file that you intend to compress.

5. Choose "send to" from the on-screen menu which appeared when you right-clicked the file.

6. Select "compressed (zipped) folder" from the list of available options for where to "send" your file to.

7. This will create your compressed file.
