Me too first time , all you need to do is enjoying driving than i'm sure you'll understand that driving well depends not on turning left and right or respecting roadrules but on enjoying rules and be far of caps.

When you start driving it's common to get that feeling of 'too many things happening at once' which causes nervousness and can lead to indecision. That passes with practice.

I really love the 'feel' of driving - the sensation through the fingertips of the front tyres on the road, the g-forces acting on the seat, the response of the brake pedal and the snick-snick of the gear lever. When you become familiar with a car it suddenly becomes an extension of your body, like putting on a piece of clothing. At that point you'll be well and truly over any nervousness.

Many enjoyable cars are money-pits, many reliable cars aren't enjoyable.
That's why I drive a Honda.
