Greetz!
Here's my humble contribution for the Portuguese people around Esato. By the way, you can find all of this stuff translated to portuguese in the following link:
http://www.telemoveis.com/forum/posts.asp?threadID=87386
I'll give the settings of the 3 GSM portuguese operators for a Zmail.pt email account. You can set different email settings by replacing the smtp and pop of your email provider.
First of all, one has to create a data account on your t68i:
(menu -> connect -> data comm. -> data accounts -> add account)
APN: internet
User ID : leave it blank
Password: leave it blank
Then, press the name of the account just created and set:
Password request: OFF
Allow calls: Automatic
IP Address: leave it blank
DNS Address: 194.79.69.222 (Optimus) 212.18.160.133 (Vodafone) 194.65.3.20 (TMN) - for each of the GSM Operators you might be using
Advan. Settings -> Authentication: Normal
Data compr. -> OFF
Header compr. -> OFF
Quality of Serv. -> (all options must be defined as "Subscribed")
After this, one has to create an email account:
(menu -> messages -> e-mail -> options -> set account)
Connect using: internet
Protocol: POP3
Inc. server: pop.zmail.pt
Incoming port: 110
Mailbox:
yourmailbox@zmail.pt
Password: *******
Outgoing server: smtp.zmail.pt
Outgoing port: 2500 (for other email providers it's normaly Port 25)
E-mail address: your reply-to mailbox
From name: yourname
Signature: leave it blank
Copy outgoing: Off
Check interval: Off (or whatever you feel like)
That's all!
Enjoy!

YOURWAP! POP3
I got this mail the other day ive tested it and it works with one problem it gets all ur mail even the ones in other folders except for outgoing!
ATTENTION! With the activation of the new functions (on Thursday, January the 23rd)
our service will be unavailable between approx. 6:00 and 8:00 am.
After that it will be available again with all new functions and capabilities.
A. POP3 Access to YOURWAP.com
When using an external mail client (e.g. MS Outlook) to retrieve e-mail
from your account, you will have to change the settings for server login.
Instead of the account name/login: yourname - as used in the past - you
will now have to enter account name/login:
yourname@yourwap.com.
As soon as the new functions have been activated you will find relevant
information in the Info Center after logging into the service,
and further information on our website.
