One word: Cardio. Get a 30-50 a month subscription to your local gym, so you can work out when you want to, ask one of the resident trainers to set you up with a cardio workout. You'll burn 1000 or more calories in each session.

Just remember though, to reduce the size of your meals. Its no good doing all the exercise, if you still continue to eat shite.

its not so much reducing the size of the meals, just reduce the amount of fat in them, i.e. eat healthier (thats probably what pmerryman was getting at)
fat has 9 calories/gram whereas protein and carbohydrate have 4
oh yeah, and drink less (or no) alcohol while doing all this, not just because alcohol is empty calories (i.e. there is no nutritional benefit), you'll also be less tired when you come to do your excercise

Thanks people. I guess my system needs jump starting cos yes i do get tired too easy thats why i need exercise. Strangely enough i dont actually eat take aways no more and no longer drink nor smoke. Its just my stupid little downfalls like too much tea with something naughty or eating processed crap. Seems to be only once a week like Sunday i eat fresh cooked food with Sunday lunch. My dad says that eat little and often rather than big meals. Just need to do it which i am already its just needed more advice.

@Bonovox and Rookwise,
I go to the gym daily, for half an hour (not to lose weight), just do my warm up, 20 mins fast running on the tredmill (at 15 kmph) without stopping, then warm down, a few weights, go home, and it's great. Get it into your every other daily routine, I don't know what hours you work, but if you can, go straight after work, then you can't go home and say "Oh I can't be arsed, I'll go tomorrow", because the truth is, you won't. I did it

@lukechris
I work in leisure. I'm a duty officer at 4 local sports centers,teach + coach swimming,football, basketball and spin cycling. I also lifeguard, supervise a turkish sauna, work in the gyms as an instructor and sales/membership advisor and qualified as a sports technician, sports scientist and leisure facility management.
All on top of helping look after my daughter who needs 24hr care atm.
Don't think I have much spare time lol.
Have kept myself busy in the 15 years since I left school.
Btw. My doctor has also told me to lose weight and I should be 11 stone for my size. Dr says i'm obese lol. I'm 15 1/2 stone in weight. Told them i've not seen 11 stone since junior school lol. Oh and i'm also on medication for severe high blood pressure.

I am around 16 stone but i dont look it. Luke Chris yes your right about the going home cant be arsed feeling that happens to us all. I work as a duty manager in a 4 star hotel. I am on my feet most of the time. I work like either 7 to 3 or 2 till 10. Sometimes i do till 6. Going straight after work is good i guess cos your still awake from your days work whereas if you go home you sit down and dont wanna get up again. Though that depends i guess on your will power. I do have will power cos i quit smoking nearly ten years ago but put on weight when i quit. Rookwise whats wrong with your daughter is it bad or should i not ask?

Would take too long to explain mate. We've got nearly 5 pages worth listing the things they've found. Some she should grow out of and some she will have for life. Basically on the inside from her stomach up to her ears and possibly a part of her brain havent formed properly and there are a lot of obstructions in her airway causing her to stop breathing and her airways collapse. Then theres her chromosome defects which they've never seen before (she's the first person on record to have this particular defect) meaning they dont know how its going t affect her developing/growing.
She's very advanced in some things (mainly ones she shouldnt be doing yet) but not as advanced in others (ones she should be doing already).
She was also born with a cleft palate. She's been through a lot in the 12 months she been here. We nearly lost her 2 months ago no thanks to her local doctor, north staffs and birmingham hospitals saying there as nothing wrong with her and we were being paranoid for 2 months. Turned out her lungs were filling up with fluid and she only had half a lung working because of it and ended up with severe reoccurant pnuemonia which has affected her breathing so much she cant go far without getting out of breath.
We're just waiting to hear if they going to operate on her stomach to prevent her Reflux as she can't have more than 30mls of food/fluid at any time. Her anti relux medication (Domperidone) has stopped working.
We've also got loads of equipment we have to carry at all times. Had to buy a bigger car to hold everything. So far we have a CPAP machine (pump that blows air constantly through her air passage via her nose to keep them open), SATS machine to monitor her heart rate/o2 levels etc), Drip+pump for fluids/high calorie milk etc, portable suction machine (heavy), bag for all her medication and another bag for nappies/clothes etc.
Also going back into hospital tomorrow for a few days for more observations.

Good god mate thats some tough going sorry to hear that i hope the best for her. Dont think i will ever moan about anything again nothing petty anyway after hearing things like that. My problems are nothing probably not even problems compared to what you and your family have been through. I have 2 nices and 2 nephews and the youngest who is 3 Isobel Rose her name she had a hole in one of her lungs when she was born. She also spent time at the Queen Elizabeth hospital Birmingham for a month and doctors could not work out what was wrong with her. She is healthy now.
