Thanks stevenC.
What about the line "patchfile=/boot/...... " where to put it ? At start of the all programming lines?

I'm not sure as I haven't tried myself but I think it can be put anywhere above or below the comments (lines starting with a semi column).

Today, when i connect the phone to aerix by pressing 2 & 5, it almost took 5 min but it didnt move from the first line i.e. Instruction please connect your phone via Usb pressing 2, 5.
My net connection was also fine and speedy. What went wrong ? I did register before using setting.

Hi,
I am getting 'cant get ACK' and 'err:0015' from a2uploader when i try to patch with the patch .vkp file. Actually, i have patched my phone using ready made .vkp like acid battery and acid signal.
What i did was i copy and paste the lines in new text file. Added patchfile line (copy and paste). Then save it as .vkp extension with ANSI coding.
Am i doing something wrong?

Added a more indepth tutorial link from SE-NSE to first post. Includes all three A2 patching methods and is more detailed than the one here.
Sorry, I don't have the time to update this tutorial. Sorry Esatonians!
