I guess I am a SE fanboy, but I'm not cheering over Nokia's losses, I'm cheering for the come-back of Motorola, Like most Esato members. Thats why I like Esato everyone can come here for help, even cheap-low-end- other-brands questions are answered. And bullying gets stopped instantly, by members, not by moderators through deleting posts. I feel save here so Esato is my shelter. HOP

I love Sony Ericsson though sometimes they frustrate me. But i also love Nokia but not as much as Sony Ericsson. I used to think Motorola were innovative but they went off the boil. Motorola can be good again. I hope so they invented alot of good stuff and made some cracking phones. But deep down its Sony Ericsson always in my heart.

I think we should be hoping that all manufacturers do well in the industry - without exception. More competition is good for the consumer as each manufacturer has to try that much harder.
How bad would it be if there was just one or two manufacturers' phones to choose from?
As for rejoicing about job losses, well that's stupid. Anyone losing their job is sad no matter who they work for. Banter between fanboys is harmless fun. Laughing at peoples livelihoods going down the plug hole is something completely different.

Do you think they'd have enough money to hire coders to develop for Android X3, Xperia X2, or Aino? Imagine the string of quarterly sales drops was ongoing for say 1yr (4qtrs) or 1.5 years. IF a trend like this continued,
could be in a position of a hostile take over, and right now only Ericsson has publicly announced to provide more funds to help it out, Sony not so much.
Also note, that more sales means more accessories, and ideally more innovative applications made for your loved phone. I may still purchase the W995 but for nastalgia reasons. Still to this day the largest loved SE phone in the threads is the W810i or the C905. If
can capture the essence of both and improve on the core abilities then we'd have something.

oh i'm sorry for being off-topic..
anyways, i've come to ESATO because of free internet.. but i've learned more about my K700i's (i have two).. so this is my preferred forum for my K700i's..
and forgot to menton, i'm a longed SE fan.. but never torn down other companies' reputation 'coz their phones are still great like my friend's nokia 5800, my motorola w230, my auntie's samsung omnia.. but, of course, i still prefer Sony Ericsson.. that i do!
