i think the satio doesnt have an equalizer because it has mono speakers and simply because the speaker just doesnt and will not support an equalizer
So what? K800 has got mono speaker, C905 has got mono speaker. Both have got EQ.

Install Lonely Cat Games - LCG Jukebox media player. It comes with equalizer and internet radio as well. Great app.

my undesrdtanding is that 3 party software with EQ will not work without the SE API or driver to enable the feature, are you sure the EQ is working, SE need to add this with next update or they will loose loyal customers including me.

It's a shame that high class phone does not have such thing like EQ. Is there any problem with it?
N5800XM have got EQ and it's the same OS. SE can't handle this or what?

SE have already said that they have no plans to add an EQ feature to the Satio.
There may be another bug fix update and possible amendment to the current dictionary. SE have being looking at the possibility to add manual editing of stored words and address the annoying way in which the Satio changes a word if you add punctuation. Of course SE being SE nothing is confirmed and all the above could change. Although the dictionary issue has been looked at it may or may not be released to customers.
I like the Satio but i think it's a fish out of water. How many useful apps are being released that officially support the Satio ? Yet the nokia's and samsungs running the same OS are still getting new and updated apps ? DO they know something we dont ?

Yes. This is a little bit annoying thing. Maybe one day we will understand politics of SE. Or maybe finally SE will understand needs of us - users of their phones.

Like so many companies , SE does not care what the customer wants, it cares how it can make the most profit with the least amount of effort. Keeping customers happy is hard work and expensive . Tricking customers into believing the Satio was so much more advanced and feature rich and supported was a much cheaper option.

Does it have RDS as well ? Or is RDS driven by hardware.
