if you want to talk about bad luck... This morning as I was buttoning my shirt, a button fell off. After that, I picked up my briefcase, and the handle fell off. Then I went to open the door, and the doorknob fell off. I went to get into my car, and the door handle came off in my hand. Now I'm afraid to pee!
No, in fact on my way to work this morning I noticed a black cat cross in front of me as I was checking my tie in a mirror that I broke by bumping into it. Then, a friend across the street yelled "Happy Birthday" so i waved back not noticing the ladder I was walking under. When I got into the office I fully opened my umbrella to let it dry out and grabbed some scrambled eggs on toast from the canteen, but when I went to put salt on it, the salt spilled everywhere.
I do wonder if all this means something but then I remember that as I was born on the 13th and so I am not at all superstitious! (touch wood)
