I think that's unfair. In february at the presentation of Satio, SE man said that battery will be 1350mah, now they r selling it with 1000. Another promises from SE that grows our hearts.
SE never stated as such that they will offer 1350. It was only until recently at the event where 1 SE rep did not know that it is suppose to be 1000, not 1350. It is true however that there exists 1350 BST-33 battery, however, it never made it into production. It had always been a testing product. Don't even mention outside source, but even inside source the battery is scarce. So if it was me, i wouldn't blame SE for something they never promised...

OK. However on Polish site of SE before Satio was pulled on market in phone specification was wrote something about battery size 1350 mah without given times of stanby and talk time.

have ordered an 1500mah battery today (aftermarket)...just curious how it will perform..
not that i'm unhappy with the stock battery though..it last approx as the one on my c905..
approx 1 1/2 days using wifi...and messaging...and some calls...
/h
In fact, I am interested in buying the aftermarket one too. The only thing I am worried is that the battery will burn the mother board of my new Satio. So I am still kind of reluctant to buy it until now.

I bought a brand new genuine BST33 1000mHa, this battery last quite twice the
battery bundled with my satio.
how this is possible?
with the satio battery I finish a day without problem using email, internet and phone call,
with the new BST33 battery with the same usage, it last two days
how this is possible?

It may be at a different run in stage, the batteries get better over several weeks of use.
How does one turn the wifi off, I always have the little indicator on the screen and it allways says that a wifi connection is available indicating that although I'm not connected to a wifi AP it is still on and searching.
Must admit I fail to see why they didn't make the satio a little deeper (a couple of mm) to allow the use of a higher capacity battery, especially on a device with so many functions.

gharkness1, Press white button, settings, connectivity, wifi-scanning and set it to off. Battery life can also be improved by turning 3g/umts off if it is not being used often. I rarely connect to the net and 3g is really fickle is sa so the phone is constantly scanning for a network. Turning it off greatly improved my battery life.
