LOL! Didnt notice this thread was already here, thanx Masseur. Realy strange of SONY/SE to show such old devices. ,yep saw M600 a hell of a lot, also W950 and P990. The kid's mother had the W950 if i remember correctly. And also think the one slide phone was a W595, and is it just me or was the Russian billionaire-best character by the way, lol,he had legendary lines, and what a voice - anyway at the boxing match looked like he had a X1? ,this seemed like the perfect opportunity for SE to show off Satio, Aino, Yari, and W995. Cleary this movie finished shooting this year, the USA president was Black, so SE could have had the above or atleast had C905, C510 etc. . .there, not such old devices.

Yeah, newer devices could be shown. But, after all, the P990 and some other older phones look like futuristic devices... Swiss army knifes... hahahaha

In the old days, you had made up stuff for Sci-Fi / Fiction movies.. then it all came down to people wanting to sell products and you had the horrid product placements.

I'd prefer to see something made up, and considering how badly phones like the M600 did, I guess Sony Ericsson figured they had a futuristic looking device ready to go. I presume that the functionality is somewhat improved!!

It's a bloody far-fetched Sci-Fi flick anyway, just enjoy the OTT computer generated imagery and pathetic storylines like everyone else!!

Ye,The storyline was so cliche i was more into trying to understand this whole 2012 hype, but realy had a hard time with most of the other things eg. How they always JUST make it out, or JUST manage to miss a awful accident etc. . .this is why i prefer things based on true life past events where the main character doesnt always live happily ever after OR just straight up stoner comedy eg. The Hangover.
