I like the fact that he bashes SE where it matters most, other reviewers aren't making enough mark in their say. But when Eldar takes it to a point where he is not being taken seriously anymore by SE, well I can't see anything good coming out of this anymore. IMHO SE should give him what he wants because it is essentially what WE want too isn't it?

+1 totaly agree.

You guys still think that Eldar is doing all this for SE's good?

According to him, switching to microsd and microusb is copying nokia and you guys think that guy is sane?

I sure as hell don't think its sane but....is there a point in universalizing every single phone to have MicroSD, MicroUSB, and the keyboard? No there isn't.

I hardly read his reviews and articles anymore, simply use them to see real pics of the phones he is reviewing, saying that SE using MicroSD and MicroUSB is copying NOKIA is pretty messed as those are gaining popularity with other brands to,to make our lives easier when switching, but i do agree with his valid points, pointing out the negatives/weak points etc. . . .as ive said before i WISH he did the same to NOKIA as they have their heads so far up their own arses its not even funny.

Im just wondering why you even bother to read anything Eldar says if it gets you so shaken? Even as a loyal reader, well used to be of M-R i got bored of him not focusing enough on the phones but on the company and all the other crap.

Trust me, under different circumstances I would have ignored his babbling. The thing is, as I mentioned in my post, I've grown so satisfied with my Satio (even more than my C905 or K810 when I first got those) that when I found out how he completely dissed it, it probably irked me more than it would have otherwise. And this thread is probably an unnecessary way of expressing my discontent.

Another reason for me being upset is the fact that there are many people out there who actually believe his nonsence. Big news sites, for one.

And I'm not saying he's completely wrong, but just look at how he's just praising the other phones (including the N97), as though they themselves have no faults whatsoever.

Well, Eldar may be a little nuts sometimes and I do believe he's gone political now but I distinctly mentioned the word 'essentially' meaning most of it would only help improve SE's deteriorating image. Mobile vendors here would rather warn people against getting a Satio than encourage them. I couldn't believe it either but SE have only themselves to blame. If I wasn't a devout sucker for SE I would've left their arse around end of 2007. But I still have faith in them (probably till they go bankrupt). Damn I'm such a sucker

about N97:
"This does not mean that it is really cool, it just said that her lot was sold. There are the lucky ones who have this device even works and is not buggy. Ehhh."

"It's amazing, but can not noted in the frustrations of the year, such a model as the Nokia N97. Even with firmware 2.1 works smartphone is not too stable, and six months of active use of its appearance has changed dramatically. Not very logical to write it here, because he still got third place in the category image. But one does not negate the other. Disappointment."

NightBlade, I know you like SE but come on!

Oops, sorry about that one. Didn't read through to that last bit. I just saw that it had won an image award and read part of the paragraph.
Ok, I was wrong there, scratch the N97 bit.

Ad. Pureness:
Undoubtedly, the most tasteless, meaningless and unrecognized phone number for a fortune, became Sony Ericsson Pureness. Transparent display, minimal functionality and dreams of glory Vertu. Someone has gone mad selling it for two thousand dollars.

While tasteless is sure a matter of taste , noone would doubt the minimal functionality and high price. It has nothing going for it besides the transparent display.

Ad. Aino & Satio:
Second place safely divide the two PR-flagship of the company - is Aino and Satio. Both devices have built a long time, but could not make it work properly. In the polite British operators forced to withdraw from the sale of phones, and started to put them on the shelf only after correcting the glaring bugs firmware. In other countries, matters are dealt with individually. In Russia, they did not dare to do, and bought such a product, then blame their own stupidity - the buyers have experienced pain in solitude.

It's Russia he's speaking of and it's Russia where noone could doubt Eldar's experience. In other news, Aino & Satio were buggy with their first firmwares. Having used all of the EU models, Satio is still with me and just laying around as I can't stand S60 for using it in everyday use. Aino is plain boring besides the limited touch functionality, only good thing is its headset. Yari - omg, don't ask me about that wobbly slider and even more boring usage.

But if you'll going to read other sites review regarding SE phones like gsmarena, techradar, cnet and the likes...it was objective, citing the device's strong and weak points. But with Eldar it's a whole dif'rent story...you just have to read between the lines. he had become personal whenever he's "reviewing" a SE phones. If feels like the man is bitter or something.
