Wont be long before the t68i successor dominates the forums anyway and p800 threads only affect WAP browsing if thats what u mean? :-) This message was posted from a T68i

no, it's not the wap but the fact that it is stupid to read 30 title and 25 of them about the same thing!this is not about the p800 but about one annoying thing! and it's the ppl too, they cant read thru the postings, just put up a new one with same ol' questions.
i see no one takes care of the forum (no locked threads, no deleting of old stuff-this forum is bigger than any other one i've seen and it's full of old junk no1 reads anymore!).

I dont we needto argue about this, T68i and P800 are brothers anyway. Both SonyEricsson and a very good phone. This message was posted from a P800

I think that any subject that becomes overly popular should be moved to a category of its own. The P800 hype is becoming tiring as was the case with the T68 a year ago. This message was posted from a WAP device

Deleting makes you angry, locking makes you angry...

Esato is fine the way it is. I don't think we should look at everybody else all the time.

The enormous mass of info will dissapear if we stared deleting, as you called it, "old topics nobody read".

i think there's a good argument for this, just because the P800 is such a totally different type of phone. while most SE phones share a lot of common features that can be discussed and compared by the vast majority of users, many of the (many) p800 threads touch on subjects that are totally irrelevant to users of any other SE or ericsson phone, and quickly veer off into discussions on general pda issues that don't really have much place here.

i made the suggestion a little while ago that there should be a forum permanently dedicated to the "hot" phone of the day, whether that's the p800, the t68 successor, or whatever. when times change, the old posts can be dumped back here, and the forum renamed to whatever is next on the horizon. this will keep the early adopters permanently happy, and give the rest of us a break at the same time.

i don't think anyone- SE included- expects the p800 to ever achieve the sort of mass-market penetration the t68 has (for example), because by it's very nature it's a niche product. at the same time tho, it's a very complex and very new phone, so the few people that have it are bound to have a lot of questions. since the only people that can answer those are other p800 users, why shouldn't they have their own forum?
