Err..sounds odd to call them a Symbian^2 feature. Symbian^1 doesnt have a feature set in itself. Its what the manufacturers incorporate in it.I am sure the flash lit versions shall be upgraded in the Satio. Dont see any major improvements other than that though.

Well they've referred to them as features from S^2 that have been ported back S^1, the Widgets are another one, basicaly all that the N97Mini has brought in,as it came with fw 2.0 straight out the box.
SAMSUNG are doing the same thing.

Are you talking about the live widgets, which when activated makes the phone go into a COMA mode?

From my experience that was sorted in V2.0 and theres a fw coming any time now.
And havent had any problems with the new Homescreen in my 5800.

Its fantastic Bono, besides Kinetic Scrolling and the new HomeScreen they have added on screen "Slides" when youre recieving a Call when the keys are locked you Slide the green one to the left to answer or red to the right to ignore if i remember correctly,il check again later, same is done to the Alarm when it rings, Green slide to Right to stop, Red slide to left to Snooze, little neat things like that have been added.
Stability wise ive not had a single freeze, reboot nor crash, battery life has been excellent to,but thats never been an issue on 5800.

Does anyone know why originally when we all updated, the phone didnt lose any settings

that is strange, SE couldnt have possibly removed UDP from Satio could they? Being able to update without losing anything is thanx to User Data Preservation (UDP) ,Was implemented in the 3250, then again in S60v3 FP1, N81 and N82 bringing it back in, and in S60v3 FP2 AND S60v5 its a Standard feature, well was supposed to be, strange SE did that,i cant think of any other reason why that would happen.

Maybe its for the good.resetting the settings and installing a new sotware on top gets rid of the software imperfetions that was there in the earlier update.
