I would just be happy if SE could port the handwriting recognition app/api from the UIQ platform to the satio. Data input in the satio is a pain.

NO WAY. Doesnt the Satio have Handwriting Recognition??? If you go into Settings- Phone, is there no Touch Input setting with Handwriting Training?

In UIQ like the p1 the top of the screen is numbers the middle caps and the bottom lower case. Drawing a line upward followed by a special character is for special characters. newline is down and left. In the satio a newline can only be selected by changing to mini qwerty and back to handwriting. Having to keep selectin uppercase lowercase and numerical is rather cumbersome and slow. The UIQ was much better. Predictive text also worked with handwriting.

The problem is there is a lack of anything available for the Satio, well anything decent. If you want anything good you have to hack your phone which for the average user is not an option. The games and aps available from SE are poor to say the least, I downloaded a few games from SE fun and downloads and all the games are extremely pixelated which proves the games are not meant for the phone. When I downloaded a "motion controll" game it wasn't even motion. Play now arena makes nokia ovi store look like a gold mine.

To me the Satio may as well be a dumb phone.
